"OnPako" is a community based forum for ideas, discussions and issues of interest to the local community, in particular in the Pakington Street area throughout Newtown and Geelong West. Our online forum allows people to participate here in discussions about various topics.

We welcome both news and creative contributions from interested citizens, local writers, artists, photographers, students, groups and clubs.

At all levels, we want to encourage and greatly increase the input from local residents and businesses . . it’s your "OnPako" but it needs your support to survive.

A free newsmagazine such as this can only survive with support from the local community by way of advertising and subscriptions and we are of course extremely grateful for those advertisers who have supported 'OnPako' previously.

This site has an archive of articles from previous editions including some articles that were not able to be included in the printed version.

The 'OnPako' Business site includes a listing of businesses and organisations along Pakington Street.
